Val and Victor have gotten the awards for BEST VIDEO and BEST VIDDER for
Round One and their videos will be featured here on the VIVA home page till the Round Two awards are given on September 30th. A round of applause...

All awards for Round One are now on the Awards page. There were some wonderful videos entered and you sure made it difficult for us to choose. We went round and round several times with several videos. We also added several videos to categories in which they were not submitted. We really enjoyed your entries and added several new categories as we went along. I hope you will like your awards, they are True Blood themed and were designed by the very talented Jessica. Another round of applause to ALL of you - you certainly deserve it! Thanks for a successful first round. We look forward to doing this all again for the next round. Speaking of...

Round 2 will open tomorrow (September 1st) probably sometime around 12:00 noon EST. Also watch for VIVA's very first challenge round to open on Saturday, September 5th. I'm really excited about it and hope to get many participants for the challenge. Details will be here.

Round one is now closed! Thank you and good luck to all you wonderful vidders who submitted. We certainly have our work cut out for us judging our first round. I'm excited to see vids from so many different fandoms entered! See you on August 31st with the awards sometime after 12:01 a.m. est.

I had a couple of people who didn't tag me when they entered. I am accepting their videos (of course) but now I have more then 20 entries. I've given it some thought and will amend the rules to accept 25 videos. I'll take entries in any categories but I'd love to see more entered in to the AU and Comedy categories and also Cast, Hero, Unconventional Couple and Villain. I know they are out there and would love to see them! Thanks to everyone who has entered so far.

Four more entries to go till I close the round. The following categories only have 1 video entered in them and need at least 2 more: AU, Cast, Comedy, Hero, Slash and Villain. Hopefully some videos will come in for those categories.

Seven more entries till twenty! I'd love to see some vids come in for the categories: angst, character, and storytelling - they each have two videos entered. Welcome to my brand new video awards site! After having the honor of receiving so many wonderful awards from other award sites I decided it was time to give back to the vidding community that I love so much. I look forward to receiving, seeing, judging and awarding your wonderful videos!

I'd like to say a huge thank you to a some people who were/are involved in the creation of this website. Thank you Bex! You have become my partner with this project. Your enthusiasm and support have kept me motivated! Archangel & EMG...you two were great in working on home page images and those images will be featured here alternately with mine over the life of this site. Thanks! Jessica, I am so happy to have found you! You are such a talented artist and I can't wait till everyone gets to see your beautiful work! THANK YOU SO MUCH MY FABULOUS FOUR! I'm so lucky to have you on my team.

I'll be changing my home page banner whenever the mood strikes. My first one up features the character Sam Merlotte from the series True Blood. He is one of my favorites (along with Terry Bellefleur).

That's all I have to say for now so go ahead - look around and familiarize yourself with the rules and how I will run things here. Then please enter those videos of yours because I am so excited to see them! I hope you will enjoy the experience as much as I do.
